The Dow Jones Information Fund will train a lot more than 100 university students to get the job done this summer season in paid internships in 77 newsrooms all over the state. This signifies the largest course in almost a decade and 1 of the most various in the Fund’s heritage.
Twenty-9 interns will go to the Information Fund’s digital small business reporting system, led by Paul Glader, a professor and director of the McCandlish Phillips Journalism Institute at The King’s College or university.
10 other enterprise reporting interns will attend a digital training session led by Glader and Garry D. Howard, director of corporate initiatives at American Town Organization Journals, right before reporting to function at ACBJ publications in 10 marketplaces about the state.
Howard, a News Fund board member and an alumnus of the 1981 enhancing application, produced the DJNF-ACBJ partnership in 2015.
